I interviewed 3 different trainers before selecting Start to Finish Gun Dog Training. I had used Mark Junior as a guide in the past and was always very impressed with his dogs and how he worked them. I also felt comfortable with Mark and his approach to training. I knew that our dog would be well taken care of and Mark explained exactly what our dog would be learning through each stage of the training. Since our dog (Roxy) was just under 6 months old and my wife thinks she is our 3rd born child, I knew Mark would care for her the same as we would...and he did! Mark always was happy to take our calls to check on Roxy and was fine when we asked him if we could bring her home for a few days during Christmas. He also gave us excellent advice and suggestions around ongoing training once we got her home. I've hunted birds for 30 years and although Roxy is still less than 10 months old she's one of the best hunting dogs I've ever hunted behind. I would highly recommend Start to Finish to anyone considering a Dog Trainer. Thanks Mark Jr. and Mark Sr. for all you've done for Roxy. I'm looking forward to many great years hunting behind her!
